This year is the 22nd annual “Buy Nothing Day,” celebrated in the USA on the day after Thanksgiving, and in sixty-five other countries on the following Saturday. Grateful for fifty years; grateful and awed by good life so far; working as best I know to share some of that good fortune. Thanks Becky, family (by blood or law); thanks to all who share this journey. May we grow in compassion and courage as we deepen our relationships.

the veil between worlds gets very thin around this time of year. Many people, who believe there might be *something* beyond this lifetime, have rituals and routines to communicate with, or protect themselves from, anything that might exist beyond our usual perception.
